1) AJP have been producing motorcycles for 25 years, so it is not a "new" company.
2) UK distribution is handled by Armitt Leisure Supplies - itself adivision of Frank Armitt & Son Ltd, a company that has been trading successfully in the UK since 1950, and is a major supplier to the UK automotive industry.
3) AJP has survived as Portugal's only motorcycle manufacturerdespite the economic challenges facing the country, and Europe as a whole.
4) AJP has a strong exporting history, with distributors throughout Europe and as far afield as Brazil.
5) AJP motorcycles are effectively "hand built" using top-quality components from established, big name, European suppliers.
6) All motorcycles in AJP's range are backed by a 2 year parts & labour warranty.
7) Although sold as "trail bikes", and fully homologated for road use in the UK, (with the insurance benefits this brings) consistent competition success has proved that AJP motorcycles are incredibly capable machines, capable of running with the very best!
8) Spare parts are readily available from UK stock, and anything else only has to come from Portugal - not the other side of the world!
9) AJP is very proud of its heritage and does not hide where it's bikes are made - "proudly made in Portugal" is our motto, and unlike certain Japanese brands who's bikes are now made in Thailand, anda certain major UK brand that has its bikes made inChina, we have no intention of moving away from our "hand built in Europe" strategy.
10) AJP is here to stay in the UK. We have already recruited a substantial number of dealers across the country, and this will continue into 2013. We are comitted to supporting our dealer network with an ever-increasing number of "AJP eXperience Centres" where potential customers can test-ride our bikes, and we have made asubstantial financial comittment to supporting the UK motorcycle industry through our membership of the MCIA.
